Workshops in the Barossa - April 2021

I'm happy to report that I'll soon be back in one of my favourite places in South Australia. This will be my second working visit to the Barossa valley, where I've previously been engaged by the excellent Barossa Council Library service to host manga workshops at their Nurioopta Branch. Those sessions were so well received that I've been invited back to teach some more, but this time I'll be demonstrating my approach to drawing animal characters. From pets to wild things, and maybe even some fantasy creatures thrown into the mix, it should be the perfect school holiday activity for any arty young people aged 8+ who would like to level up their animal drawing game. Workshops are scheduled for on the 12th of April in the first week of school holidays. There are two identical sessions, just at different libraries in the region. There's one in Lyndoch at 11am, which you can book by following this link: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/148114282807

Or there's another in Nurioopta at 1pm, which you can book here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/148113636875 I'm hopeful that this round of classes will be just as much fun as the last! Here's a short video that the Library shared showing some highlights from those workshops, including some fantastic student artwork:
